CORA / Canadian Outrigger Racing Association

All MHCC members are covered with USACK insurance for the two Canadian races.  Please bring your USACK number with you and any waivers CORA asks you to fill out. 

Great race to get your feet wet in Iron Races.  Can be very challenging when weather permitting the course goes out into the ocean.  Also, when traveling to this race be very careful of weather conditions throughout the weekend.  Last year there was a severe snow storm that caused havoc on I5 and treacherous conditions on the drive home.  4 - wheel drive was needed for 6 hours+.

There is a Hostel right next to the race site called Vancouver Beach Hostel  Reservations can be made with group price to make it a bit cheaper.  Large parking area for canoes and easy access for rigging and rolling down to the water.  Great meal afterwards and fun to walk out on the big pier and watch the races come in and finish.
