We are proud to announce our latest sponsor relationship with Share Aloha, Making the World a Better Place One Bracelet at a Time. The Share Aloha bracelet was conceived in Hawai'i, the land of aloha. Aloha, Hawaii's most recognized word, means love, compassion, mercy, kindness, grace, charity, hello, and goodbye. Aloha is not something to be kept to yourself -- aloha is meant to be shared with others.  Mountain Home Canoe Club is excited to share Aloha with all our participants and continue to bask in the wonderful relationships we continue every day while paddling outrigger canoes.

The Stars Have Aligned!  Celebrate Summer Solstice with OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science and Industry) during an evening Star Party after Rooster Rock Race on Saturday, June 30!  Make it a full weekend by coming early and camping Friday night, race all day on Saturday, and then enjoy an evening under the starts with OMSI!  OMSI hosts a number of Star Parties throughout the year (weather permitting) where 20+ volunteers with telescopes of all sizes set up along the bank west of the ranger station for the public.  Generally about 100 to 200 folks attend the viewing learning about the evening sky with live star talks and wondrous views through the numerous telescopes.  Please let Laura Ricker know if you are intending on camping.

We especially thank our generous sponsors for their support!
